Born and raised in the north Indian state of Rajisthan, Sudha is a long time resident of Charlottesville. If you’re lucky, you may have eaten in her restaurant, The Taj, in the mid-1980’s. Sudha’s classes at the cooking school have grown in popularity over the years as more and more of us sample and enjoy the wonderful flavors of Indian cooking.
In this class, Sudha will teach you how to identify all the ingredients that are essential to North Indian meals, including the many varieties of dal (lentils). As you prepare a delicious meal together, you will learn how to identify the different spices in a “Masala box.”
