Do the holidays make you yearn for cinnamon rolls? Eric will teach you how to make an even better version of your dreams: monkey bread! Complementing this popular crowd-pleaser, you will use the same brioche-based dough to make a chocolate sourdough cherry bread.
Eric will bring samples and include an explanation of how to make a variety of other brioche-based breads, including kugelhopf, brioche feuilletee, challah, and stollen.
On Friday evening, you will prepare a sweet, enriched standard yeast recipe and leave it to rise as you close the doors behind you. You will open the doors the next morning to discover the magical powers of yeast. Your sweet-smelling dough will be ready for an intensive five hour (10-3) session of bread baking with a pro. Lunch is included.
REQUIRED: BUNDT PAN (If you do not own a bundt pan, a large loaf pan will suffice, but you will achieve better results with the bundt.)
